Lotus Repair & Service in Dubai
Emira, Evora and Exige servicing, with cooling and geometry treated as the priorities they are.
A Lotus is built light and cooled to a European specification, so in Dubai the cooling system and the geometry are where attention belongs. Cars used on track need shorter intervals and a different alignment from cars used on the road, and we set that with you rather than applying one figure to both. Lotus service in the region is thin on the ground, and owners often drive a long way for it. We keep the common wear parts moving and order the rest early, so a car is not sitting on a lift waiting for a courier.
What we do on a Lotus
Every job below is carried out in our own workshop in Al Quoz.
- Transmission Repair Diagnosis before disassembly — most faults are not a rebuild.
- Clutch Repair Clutch, flywheel and release bearing on manual and dual-clutch cars.
- Radiator & Cooling Overheating traced to its cause before anything is replaced.
- Car AC Repair Leak traced and fixed, not just topped up with gas.
- Electrical & Electronics Modules, wiring and battery drain traced properly, not swapped on a guess.
- Battery Replacement Correct specification, coded to the car where the system requires it.
- Bumper Repair Bumper, sensors and camera brackets repaired or replaced and repainted.
- Body Repair & Paint Panel and paint matched to the original finish.

Lotus faults we see most
-
Coolant temperature rising in traffic
- Symptom
- Temperature climbs when stationary.
- Fix
- Radiator airflow, fan operation and coolant condition checked as one system.
-
Geometry drifting after track use
- Symptom
- Car pulls or wears tyres unevenly after a session.
- Fix
- Four-wheel geometry measured and set for how the car is actually used.
-
Clutch and gear selection on the manual
- Symptom
- Heavy or imprecise shift.
- Fix
- Hydraulics checked before the gearbox is opened — it is usually the cylinder.
-
Oil leak from the front of the engine
- Symptom
- Drips after the car has been parked.
- Fix
- Source traced under pressure — on the V6 it is usually a cover gasket, not the seal it looks like.

Questions
Do you prepare cars for track days?
Yes — fluids, brakes and a track alignment, then a road setup afterwards if you want it.
Do you service the Emira?
Yes, both the four-cylinder and the V6.
Do you work on the Eletre?
It is electric and needs high-voltage certification. Call before booking and we will be straight with you about what we can take on.
Do you keep Lotus parts?
We keep the usual wear items and order the rest early, so the car is not held on a lift waiting for a delivery.
How much does a Lotus service cost in Dubai?
A minor service is from AED 900 and a major service from AED 2,400 at our workshop in Al Quoz. The figure depends on engine size and on what the inspection finds — Emira, Evora and Exige do not all cost the same. You get an itemised estimate before anything is touched, and nothing happens until you approve it.
How often should I service my Lotus in Dubai?
Lotus schedules a service every 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first. In Dubai we bring the oil forward to about 10,000 km: at 45 °C oil oxidises faster than the European interval assumes. We use Lotus-specified full synthetic, and a minor service is from AED 900.
Do you offer a warranty on Lotus repairs?
Yes — 6 months on parts and labour for Lotus work carried out in our own workshop in Al Quoz. Genuine Lotus parts carry the manufacturer cover on top of ours. The term is written into the estimate before you approve the job, so you know what is covered in advance.
How long does a Lotus service take?
A minor service takes the same working day; a major service one to two working days. Diagnostics take two to three hours — we scan every module, then confirm the fault physically before quoting. Repairs get a date once the cause is known, rather than an estimate guessed from the symptom.

Lotus Repair and Service in Dubai
A Lotus is built light and cooled to a European specification, and both facts matter more here than anywhere else the cars are sold. Cooling has less margin than on a heavier car with a larger radiator, and in traffic at forty-five degrees that margin disappears. Geometry, meanwhile, is central to how these cars work: a Lotus that is slightly out of alignment does not simply wear tyres unevenly, it stops doing the thing it was built to do.
Lotus service provision in the region is thin, and owners often drive a considerable distance for it. That shapes how we work: we keep the common wear items in stock and order the rest early, so a car is not sitting on a lift for a week waiting for a courier. When a part will take time, we say so before the car comes in rather than after it is apart.
The range spans two decades of quite different engineering. The Elise and Exige are small, light and mechanically simple in ways modern cars are not. The Evora and Evora GT add a V6 and more complexity. The Emira is a new platform available with either a four-cylinder or a V6, and the two need different attention. The Eletre is electric, which requires high-voltage certification, and we will tell you plainly before booking what we can and cannot take on.
Owners who use their cars on track need a different service pattern from those who do not: shorter fluid intervals, higher-specification brake fluid, and an alignment set for the circuit rather than the road. We can set a track alignment and return the car to a road setup afterwards, and we will say which of the two your driving actually calls for rather than assuming.
Call or message with the model and how you use the car. Diagnostics first, written estimate second, work only after you have approved it.
Parts availability is the honest constraint with Lotus in this region, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. Common service items we hold. Model-specific components, particularly for the older Elise and Exige, come from the UK and take time. We check availability before the car comes in, and where a part will take weeks we say so and let you decide whether to book now or wait. A car sitting on a lift because a workshop ordered late is a failure of planning, not of supply.
One more point about weight and brakes. These cars stop well because they are light, which means brake components last longer than owners expect but fluid does not. Brake fluid absorbs moisture at the same rate regardless of how little the car weighs, and on a car used hard the boiling point matters far more than pad thickness. We test the fluid rather than assuming it, at every service.
