Jeep Repair & Service in Dubai
Wrangler steering and Grand Cherokee air suspension, plus proper inspections after desert use.
Jeeps in the UAE do work most Jeeps never do, and sand finds every seal and bush. A car that has been in the dunes needs a different inspection from one that commutes: we check the steering geometry, the differentials and the intake path before anything else. A Jeep that goes off road needs a different relationship with a workshop than one that does not. We would rather see the car after a weekend in the dunes than six months later, when a sand-worn bush has taken the geometry with it.
What we do on a Jeep
Every job below is carried out in our own workshop in Al Quoz.
- Suspension Repair Air suspension diagnosed corner by corner, not replaced wholesale.
- Engine Repair Leaks, cooling, timing and overhaul work.
- Transmission Repair Diagnosis before disassembly — most faults are not a rebuild.
- Clutch Repair Clutch, flywheel and release bearing on manual and dual-clutch cars.
- Radiator & Cooling Overheating traced to its cause before anything is replaced.
- Car AC Repair Leak traced and fixed, not just topped up with gas.
- Electrical & Electronics Modules, wiring and battery drain traced properly, not swapped on a guess.
- Battery Replacement Correct specification, coded to the car where the system requires it.

Jeep faults we see most
-
Steering wobble after a bump
- Symptom
- Front end shakes at speed following an impact.
- Fix
- Track bar, damper and bushes checked together — replacing the damper alone hides it rather than fixing it.
-
Grand Cherokee sitting unevenly
- Symptom
- One corner low, compressor cycling often.
- Fix
- Air struts leak-tested individually before the compressor is blamed.
-
Sand in the intake path
- Symptom
- Power loss and rough running after dune driving.
- Fix
- Airbox, filter and intake tract inspected, with the throttle body cleaned.
-
Differential fluid contaminated after water crossing
- Symptom
- Milky fluid or noise following deep water.
- Fix
- Both differentials and the transfer case drained and inspected rather than topped up.

Questions
Do you inspect after desert driving?
Yes, and it is worth doing. Sand gets into bushes, seals and the intake, and the damage is cheap to catch early.
Can you fix Wrangler steering wobble?
Yes. It is usually a combination of parts, not one, so we check the whole front end before quoting.
Do you service lifted Jeeps?
Yes, including geometry after a lift — an unaligned lifted car destroys tyres quickly.
How often should I inspect after off-road use?
Jeep schedules a service every 12 months or 12,000 km, whichever comes first. In Dubai we bring the oil forward to about 10,000 km: at 45 °C oil oxidises faster than the European interval assumes. We use MS-6395 full synthetic, and a minor service is from AED 550.
How much does a Jeep service cost in Dubai?
A minor service is from AED 550 and a major service from AED 1,400 at our workshop in Al Quoz. The figure depends on engine size and on what the inspection finds — Wrangler, Grand Cherokee and Gladiator do not all cost the same. You get an itemised estimate before anything is touched, and nothing happens until you approve it.
Do you offer a warranty on Jeep repairs?
Yes — 6 months on parts and labour for Jeep work carried out in our own workshop in Al Quoz. Genuine Jeep parts carry the manufacturer cover on top of ours. The term is written into the estimate before you approve the job, so you know what is covered in advance.
How long does a Jeep service take?
A minor service takes the same working day; a major service one to two working days. Diagnostics take two to three hours — we scan every module, then confirm the fault physically before quoting. Repairs get a date once the cause is known, rather than an estimate guessed from the symptom.

Jeep Repair and Service in Dubai
Jeeps in the UAE do work that most Jeeps elsewhere never do. Dune driving pushes fine sand into places water never reaches: bushes, seals, the intake tract and the differential breathers. A car that spends weekends in the desert needs a different inspection from one that commutes on Sheikh Zayed Road, and the difference is not a longer list — it is a different list. We check steering geometry, differentials and the intake path first on a car that has been off road.
The most common complaint we hear is steering wobble after an impact, and it is also the most commonly misdiagnosed. Replacing the steering damper makes the symptom quieter without fixing it, and the underlying wear in the track bar and bushes continues. We check the whole front end together, because on a Wrangler the fault is almost always a combination of parts rather than a single one. Diagnosing it properly costs less than replacing the damper twice.
The range differs more than the badge suggests. The Wrangler and Gladiator are solid-axle vehicles built around off-road capability, with the wear pattern that implies. The Grand Cherokee, particularly with air suspension, is a road-biased SUV whose faults resemble a European premium car more than a Wrangler. The SRT adds a large-capacity engine and brake system that needs its own attention. The Cherokee and Compass are different again. We treat them as separate vehicles because mechanically they are.
On parts, genuine and matching-quality OEM are both available, and on a Jeep the choice matters in a specific way: aftermarket suspension components vary enormously in quality, and a cheap bush fails in months here. Where a car is lifted or modified we say honestly which parts are appropriate and which are not, and we always reset geometry afterwards — an unaligned lifted vehicle destroys tyres within a few thousand kilometres.
Book by phone or WhatsApp. Bring the car in after a serious trip rather than months later: sand damage is cheap to catch early and expensive to leave. Diagnostics come first, then a written estimate, then work once you approve it.
Recovery gear, tyre pressures and the habit of airing down deserve a mention, because they affect what we see. Running low pressures in sand is correct; forgetting to air back up before the drive home is how sidewalls get destroyed and geometry gets knocked out. Bring the car in after a heavy season rather than after a failure, and ask us to check the things sand reaches: the intake tract, the differential breathers, the ball joints and the bushes. It is a short inspection and it catches most of what turns into an expensive weekend later.
Finally, geometry after any suspension work is not optional on these vehicles. A solid-axle Jeep with a lift, new bushes or a replaced track bar will wear a set of tyres in a few thousand kilometres if the settings are left where the work put them. We align every car we touch on the suspension, and we show you the before and after figures rather than asking you to take it on trust.
