Major & Minor Car Service in Dubai
Servicing to the schedule your car was built to, with the work recorded so the history stays intact.
What this covers
A service book written for European conditions assumes European roads and European heat. In Dubai the intervals that matter are the ones your car actually reaches, and we advise on that rather than following the page blindly. Every service is recorded, so a future buyer sees an unbroken history.
Booked in for this? Owners often ask about wheel alignment in Dubai, radiator & cooling at our Al Quoz workshop and our body repair & paint work at the same time — one visit covers all of it.

Questions
Will servicing here void my manufacturer warranty?
No. A warranty stays valid when the car is serviced to schedule with correct-specification parts and the work is documented. We document every service.
How do I know which service my car needs?
Manufacturer intervals in this region run 12 months or 15,000 to 16,000 km, but Dubai heat shortens that in practice: we recommend about 10,000 km between oil services. Sand and short summer trips matter as much as distance. A scheduled service here is from AED 550.
Do you use genuine parts?
Genuine or matching OEM from the supplier that makes the part for the factory. Both are offered with the price of each in the estimate, so the decision is yours rather than ours. Fluids are always to the manufacturer specification — that we do not substitute.
How much does a scheduled service cost in Dubai?
From AED 550 at our workshop in Al Quoz. The figure moves with the car and with what the check finds, so treat it as a starting point rather than a quote. It covers oil and filters, brake and coolant levels, a road test and a full diagnostic scan. You see the itemised estimate before any work begins.
How long does a scheduled service take?
Normally the same working day. We book a slot rather than a queue, so the car is worked on when you bring it in. If the job turns out to need longer once it is apart, you hear the reason and the new date before we carry on.
Is the work covered by a warranty?
Yes — 6 months on parts and labour for work carried out in our own workshop in Al Quoz. Where a part carries its own manufacturer cover, that applies on top. The term goes into the estimate before you approve the job, not into the invoice afterwards.
Car Service in Dubai: Major and Minor
A service schedule printed for European conditions assumes European roads, European temperatures and European driving patterns. None of those apply here. Dubai combines high ambient heat with short journeys, long idling in traffic and airborne dust, and each of those shortens the life of oil, filters and coolant independently of distance travelled. A car that covers eight thousand kilometres a year in this city is working its fluids harder than a car covering twenty thousand in a temperate climate, which is why mileage alone is a poor guide to when a service is actually due.
The practical difference between a minor and a major service is not simply the length of the list. A minor service covers engine oil, filters, fluid levels and a full inspection on the lift. A major service adds spark plugs, air and cabin filters, brake fluid, and a closer look at the drivetrain, along with items the manufacturer specifies at longer intervals. Which one your car needs depends on its mileage, its last service and how it has been used, and we will tell you which is due before you commit to anything.
Every service here includes an inspection on the lift with photographs of anything we flag. That report separates what needs attention now from what can reasonably wait, because the two are not the same and conflating them is how owners lose trust in workshops. If a component has months of life left, we say so and note it for next time rather than adding it to the invoice. If something is genuinely unsafe, we say that too, plainly.
Servicing at an independent workshop does not affect a manufacturer warranty, provided the car is serviced to schedule with correct-specification parts and the work is documented. That last condition is the one that matters, and it is the one most often neglected. We record every service against the car with dates, mileage and parts fitted, and the record is yours. In a market where buyers routinely ask for service history, an unbroken record is worth real money at resale.
On parts, genuine is our default. Where a matching-quality OEM equivalent exists at a materially lower price, we present both options with the price difference and let you decide, and we note on the invoice which was fitted. What we do not do is substitute quietly. The cheapest available filter and the correct filter are not the same component, and a workshop that treats them as interchangeable is saving money that is not theirs to save.
Book by phone or WhatsApp with the mileage and the date of the last service. We will tell you which service is due, roughly what it involves and when we can take the car. Diagnostics and inspection come first, a written estimate follows, and no work begins until you have approved it.
Finally, ask us what we did not do. A service invoice that lists only work carried out tells half the story; knowing that the brakes were measured and found healthy, or that a fluid was tested and left alone, is worth as much as the list of parts fitted.
